Transformers

Guys I just got back from seeing the new Transformers movie with the family and I gotta say it was amazing. So damn good. Go see this movie if you can, it kicked serious ass and will definitely not be the same on the tv if you just wait for rental.

I just got back from the theaters too, and i saw both Transformers and Die Hard, and ive got to say, While the Transformers movie didnt massacre my childhood like i thought it was going to, it has its ups and downs. I really would have prefered if they used Megatrons original voice actor as well.

On the other movie, it was your standard Die Hard flick, only with lots of technobabble. :P I enjoyed it thoroughly. ^_^

Only downsides for me where that Frenzy = Jar Jar (but with Killing) and that the Transformers themselves weren't really explored from a character point of view.

Every time one of the decepticons spoke (my personal favourites) you had to go "Ehhh?" over the explosions... also - every time = 5. Which were about all you heard from them...

Shame in my opinion... yes - explosions are cool. But a mix is also nice.

Isn't the voice actor that did Megatron originally dead now? Could be wrong but I thought so anyway.

No, because he did the voice acting for Megatron in the stupid unplayable game that came out when the movie did.

I don't think he is dead, I think they just didn't want to spend much on boring things like "stories" or "continuation"...

Not when there is a budget for EXXXXPLOSIONSSSSS.

Oh, and MORE EXXXXXPLOSIONSSSSSS.

I only spelt it like that because I'm sure that's how Michael Bay says it...a bit like Gollum about his precious

Hopefully if there is a second one, they'll expand more on the personalities.

I seriously hope Jazz and Megatron come back too...but not Frenzy. He's shite.
