[Q] General info on FW @ GameDays

#1  Postby shaggai » Sun Jun 03, 2007 4:00 am

Since I'm on the East Coast of the US and Gamesday Baltimore is coming up I was actually thinking of taking a trip down to it.

Just wondering on how the general FW support is at one of these. I see how they have the "reserve some stuff" option on their website - if I don't do this, what are the actual chances that they might have "insert obscure FW model" available there to buy, also assuming I'm early enough to bypass the inital opening crush...

There's some things I would like to buy, but can never get past the minimum for free shipping and their shipping charge if you don't satisfy the minimum. At least this way I can plan to have a horde of cash...

I dunno what it's like in US but at GD UK they normally have a really wide range of stuff. It was even better the one time when they had a 'sale' and had a lot of the old stuff for next to nothing prices - I managed to get about £300 of stuff for £65 woohoo!!

A friend of mine has bought stuff the last two Games Day Chicago's, and I believe he has never reserved anything. Both times they where fairly recent releases, such as the Tau Specialist Crisis Suits and the Anphenelon releases.
