Ogryn Transport!

#1  Postby Chunky_Baby » Mon Mar 05, 2007 7:02 am

So guys,

Sorry I've been away so long, been extremely busy with work, travelling all over the place to train.

Back now - and can confirm that I got my ultimate Ogryn Transport at the end of January...

Yep - the Gorgon is mine !! :P

Have now got 9 Ogryns, so working on the other 14... just so I can attach commisars to them as well LOL

Watch the crap fly at THAT as it lumbers across the board. Should take eyes off everything else

Other than that, built the Prometheus for the Fists, and built the Armoured Company up a bit with a fourth Exterminator.

Chaos Space Marines received a long overdue "Abbadon" and a "Cypher" plus painted pre-heresy Rhino... mainly to annoy any new Dark Angel Players as I couldn't resist it.

What you lot been up to?

Aww cool. pics when the gorgon's done?

I've mostly been painting a soviet MVDplatoon and a bunch of afghans for 1980s
lots of armor and choppers and stuff too

slower on the 40k-front, some swooping hawks, and repainting my old spacemarines in chaos colors.. (aswell as some 20 CSM termies :D )

sure - it's a WIP right now as I have a paint queue as long as my arm, and then some.

I think I need an industrial sprayer... but the Imperial Fists would complain about their new "green" color as it's easier.

I'll send them on to the Blog once they are done.

I'd love to get into WWII stuff, but I'd never get ANYTHING done.... Best I shy clear until things settle.

Sounds good on the Termies - are they new converted plastics? I have 8 Khornate old metal ones, but honestly they look crappy compared. I'm gonna wait till they realease a plastic conversion sprue and then go to town.

they're wonderful ol'skool metal termies.. I've collected them from various sources (only five were bought new) so they were a pretty ragtag bunch :)

My paint que is pretty long aswell, iv'e got a full bananacrate with unbassembled sprues even, still can't stop buying new stuff :/

I got myself an airbrush pretty recently, that helps a lot in painting,, especially tanks.. i actually giggle 'cause it's so much fun using it:D

And No i don't thin my paints with chemicals :P

I tried using denaturated alcohol for awhile but i had some trouble with dizzyness and a slight nausea so i decided it was better to use water until i've built a proper spraybooth:)

I will be using it for spraying vodka at my pals the next time we have a party tho :D

It'll give a funny feel to the party,
pass the alcohol-injector , :P
i think it'll have more effect if you inhale it..

come to think of it.. it might not be so very good for ones health inhaling alcohol... :/

LOL. No not for real. I would never try inhaling alcohol. I like being alive. I did however consume mass quantities of it for St. Patricks day and enjoyed the hell out of that. :)
