Eldar hornet

#1  Postby fatzech » Thu Feb 17, 2011 8:28 am

I was playing with some army lists and I added a hornet squad. I do not have the IA book yet but I wanted to know if the AB file is correct when adding weapons and additional units to a hornet squad. I am able to add one hornet to the squad with the *add hornet under "add units" of the first hornet but I am not able to add a third hornet. I must click the plus sign for the original model to add a third model. Is this by design?

In addition when you add a model with the *add hornet it allows you to take different weapons for the one hornet you added much like adding a warlock and giving them different powers. Is this the rules that it allows you to take different weapons or is this part of the AB file? I only see the "experimental" rules on forge world so I really don't know.

Seems to me you would want to add them with the *add hornet option just like warlocks.

The Eldar Hornet is not yet in an IA book, the trial rules are here: http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/Downloads/Product/PDF/h/hornetexp.pdf

It does appear to be a bug though. Please post it in the bug tracker.

Since the Eldar Hornet will be in the as yet unreleased Imperial Armour 11, the Forgeworld PDF rules are the only rules. The mixed weapons are by design, the limit of two unique Hornets is a bug. I'll fix that.

Next time you find an issue, go ahead and put it in the Tracker above.

Thanks!
