OK, if some of those using the new Space Wolves files would like to chime in on some of the changes that were made to them which separates them from other files - such as the new model on power fist selection.

Would like to know if such changes should be adopted into other files, and or should they be expanded into other options as well - such as ones that would change attack profiles, ones that would change other stats?

I thnik that this can be expanded into other files easily - with the caveat that some option tracking methods may require rules (i.e., the red validation warnings instead of the neat grey out present when option selections are all used).

Basically this was one intention I had in updating a file which vitally could use this, Daemonhunters, with their penchant for Nemesis Force Weapons. At the time however, I wanted to keep the tranditional method rather than using rules, but now I am more open to the idea.

Go to Space Marines, tick the Space Wolves chapter option ...

Yes, adding a new line for the model when an option changes it's stats is a good idea.

But, why does it add 1 to the pack size?

It's easy enough to subtract one of the base equipped guys.

So I am just curious what kind of coding issues there would be to keep the pack size the same.

Logically, I just want to add a Power Fist, not an additional pack member with a Power Fist.

I think it's a coding issue. For instance, what if those "base guys" have been given weapon options? Which options do you remove when you remove the one model? The logic becomes quite complex to handle all situations, so the easy solution is to add a new model on it's own line and let the user change the base squad settings to fit.

Ah, good point.
It would be difficult to deal with the special weapons restrictions.

BTW, when I said:
"It's easy enough to subtract one of the base equipped guys."

I meant it is easy enough for the user to click the minus button. :)
