that is a very valid use of infiltrate, if you have 3-4 units with infiltrate you can make sure he won't know the best rout to attack, ruining his plans to no end=)

Agreed, I use infiltrate to place Stormtrooper plasma at key points of attack, because you can usually figure out beasty unit's combat routes (statured lords) by the time infiltration comes around.

Statured Lords that i play against usually have speed, and are keen on getting into assault on the first turn. IG are well rumored to be very very squishy in CC. :P

ws4 guard get points heavy, rather fast, because the doctrine is 10 points per squad.

then i suggest you try both with and without H.fighters, i've found it very valuable in keeping a couple of guardsmen alive to fight back (ie stand in the way for consolidatemoves ;) )

So far, ive changed my lists a little to use grenadiers as troops (to save points, and because its a better unit) and lots and lots of veterans. I almost all but abandoned my Command Platoon and instead are using nearly a full squad of Last Chancers, for the additional wargear and convienience of Sub-Units.
