The Macharius is a smaller superheavy, meant to be somewhere between a Leman Russ and a Baneblade. Forget the plastic Baneblade that's rumored to be coming out with Apocalypse, I want a plastic Macharius.

Tell me about it. If FW stuff weren't so damn expensive, I would buy so much of their stuff it isn't funny.

Yeah. I wish they could figure out a way to make it all more cost effective. Especially for those of us in the States. I would seriously make plans to purchase more from them if the stuff was more in line with GW costs. I know FW items are better detailed and sometimes slightly larger, but really I want to use them for gaming so slightly better detail really gets lost on me anyway. I especially woudl like to get teh IA books, but just cannot even think of spending that much money on a rule book for expanded rules are art. My wife would shoot me. As it is she probably wants to kill me just over the actual playable stuff I have bought, forget the extra rules which insipre more figure purchases.

I don't know - I think we might be a generally "cheep" bunch. Even when Armorcast had it's 40K products - it took them closing down shop before I decided to pick up a Falcon and a Revenant. (I also picked up a Tempest as a "painting favor" for a friend - all I had to do was paint his warhound.)

As it is, each time I build up a buying list it comes to nearly $2K of stuff - and I always balk at picking it up in $500 chunks trying to avoid the shipping cost, since if it wasn't for that I'd happily buy close to $100 of stuff a week (even if that would only amount to a model or two - maybe...).

i agree ghaz, i actually think these slightly smaller tanks would be better for plastic prod.. my baneblade is too huge and lumbering already to be any real fun to use, and it suffers greatly from the FW pointscost..:/

i think that FW is a bit too pricey tho, still buying some stuff but not much..:/

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH

MORE TANKS!!!!!!!

MUST...MORTGAGE...PROPERTY...

I like the Macharius, not too sure about the Malcador...

I mean - what is it??

It honestly looks like someone dropped a whole load of FW shit in a heap, mixed with Glue. Sorry... but it does..

This coming from someone who OWNS a Gorgon... I know Fuggly when I see it

Still - I STILL prefer the Plastic Baneblade. And what's all this with damn Krieg?

Bring on more "regular" stuff. I mean - we are I think a core group of gamers. Who on earth can afford to buy the actual tanks (apart from me and I'm insane) let alone squads of "guard" at about #22 a squad?

WHO?

No one, that's who...

i think they should stop doing armies, maybe a veteran squad or so, but the whole armystuff is meh:/

That would be cool. If they simply focused on specialty units likes Vet squads, alternate Leader figures for both entire armies and even replacement Vet Seargents(Or their other army equivz) that would be cool. then the cost is limited to a couple 'specialty purchases' and not entire armies.

its called an exterminator... thats the cheapest and best pillbox I can think of...

I don't need THAT many Heavy Bolters and that cost, especially with an Ordenance weapon on it (Demolisher by the looks of it).

Not much point.. I hardly ever use the actual Demolisher anymore because of that crappy rule.

If it's Super Heavy - too costly.

I've got exterminators as well:)

as you say, it'll probably cost too much points for too little oomph,

but being a superheavy, at least it'll get to shoot ll it's weapons:)
the only real advantage for superheavies, those Structure points are not worth 100 pts each, give me T6+ and wounds anyday..

yep - for the cost - I can probably field 4 Exterminators.

Rather have those thanks.

We'll see... nothing they have out right now excites me that much. I'd love to see how many people are actually investing inthe Kreig stuff enmasse.

It can't be many... they must be making a loss on it.

I have heard about a new "Megalith" that might be coming out for the Necrons. That'll be my next purchase from them.. if only cos like Pokemon - I gotta have 'em all.
