AB40k Maintainers

While trying to figure out the DK list options (getting ruleset is invalid message due to the IA option being ticked) I noticed that there are FAQ entries in the ig5UniDat.dat file and that the igFAQ6 entry covers how to select the unit correctly. What I can't figure out though is what part of AB actually displays the FAQ data - clicking the Help > Warhammer 40k 5th Edition menu option just pulls up a .htm file off the hard disk that doesn't contain this snippet. Is this feature implemented yet?

When you use the toolbar at the top and select the "Warhammer 40K FAQ" you get the html page opened to general rundown of everything, including the items which are under the FAQ tab (when looking at the file under ABCreator) - note that you have to scroll WAY down to get to the IG, but everything in that FAQ tab is there.

Don't worry. I think that 99% of the users don't know about the FAQ either

Oh, I knew about the FAQ - I just couldn't see that entry in there. Once shaggai had pointed it out it was so obvious I'm amazed I missed it.

Actually I might need to go though that one of these days once I got some sort of handle on things - I'd like to make sure that those FAQs aren't being held over from the previous edition and perhaps add in a few new ones, such as the bonus attack and power fists under 5th.

Maybe that might also be one thing we can see if LW can add to a new iteration of AB, such as the ability to bring a specific FAQ immediately to a window instead of needing to scroll to what you need to see.

You just click the link and it takes you to the appropriate FAQ
