Holy cow, does no one come here to chat anymore?

Hehe, i'll make an effort to talk more, been out of the 40k-loop for awhile (never thought that could happen)
but i've felt the need to bring out the big gunz again.

I might be swapping system tho,, looking at 5150 instead of 40k, mostly since me and a few of my friends are rather fed up with them..

this could be half the prob at the mo' Wraith, GW is slipping with things and people, as in a lot of the veteran gamers, are starting to drop out of the games systems for one reason or another

I spend too much time on Age of Strife and Warseer to chat here too

Plus I've been away all weekend - just got back after a total round trip of around 700 miles.

I'm here. I'm just not posting much as I've been playing more on X-box live(as those that can have probably noticed).

I guess I will drop more lines in here as I can.

Yeah I notice this site has its lulls of very little action at times. Too bad too as it used to be a very busy site.

I check in daily, but there is usually nothing worth responding to. As for 40k itself, ive been trying to downsize my armies and been using the rest of my income to try to buy a car. That and with the release of Chaos Daemons and 5th Edition, i really dont want to play the game anymore. Its been broken beyond playability.

I have their vietnam games (even playtested one of them )
their zombie game, blue sky red sand (gladiatorial)
Chain reaction 2 (generic modern combat)
very good, a single stat for troops, modified with attributes
troops react to what's happening aorund them
sometimes the troops act on their own too, it's pretty realistic in that you dont have complete control over your troops
there are a bunch of try before you buy stuff under the free-tab

I'd recommend trying those, it's not a system for everyone but i love it
I feel a bit like rayne, in that the new editions and everything makes the game lose it's attraction quite a bit..

what we need here is a user gallery so we can heave praise over each others paintjobs again

Here... just been on vacation and been busy at work.

Also can't get access to the site from work anymore, so even if I do get 5 minutes I can't post.

I am also in a sort of rutt, having spent a lot and then seeing the almighty balls up they made of Chaos Marines and Daemons (in my opinion of course).

Very unhappy - then they tease me with the Reaver (awesome) and then I get half assed rumors about "kiddyhammer" 5th edition and then get sad again.

Honestly - Apocalypse might be the only thing I play soon...
